We fell over this place randomly while walking, and went inside. The place seems small from the outside, but it's actually very big. We got served by some lovely staff members, who where helpful, one in particular, named Monika. She was very sweet, and ended up serving us, whenever we visited. The food was lovely.

Location, atmosphere, company was great. Carbonara was not like Florence. The grilled steak tasted burned unfortunately. Was cooked perfectly on the inside, but the grill marks were too pronounced with burnt.

I’ve visited Azzurro in Waterloo three times now, and each visit has been perfect. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a relaxed vibe that works for both family meals and get-togethers with good friends. The staff are always friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. The food is consistently fantastic—whether it's their rich, flavorful pasta dishes or perfectly cooked pizzas, everything is fresh and beautifully presented. I’ve been here with family and friends, and it ticks both boxes: a great spot for a cozy family dinner or a fun, relaxed meal with friends. I can always count on them for an excellent experience. Highly recommend!

Had a fabulous experience at this restaurant which we booked for 19 people before seeing a show at The Old Vic. Super convenient for both Waterloo and the theatre, the whole process of booking and dining could not have been better. Special shout out to Eva who made it easy and efficient from booking to serving us. Eating in the space under the arch made it feel like a private room, and all our food came out hot, correct and delicious - mean feat for such a large group. Prices were really reasonable too, especially for London. Couldn’t fault it from start to finish and will definitely book again!

Very good. On the Tastecard they have 2-for-1 on all courses which makes it good value. I got salmon risotto the taste was good. My friend got a beef burger he enjoyed it. The atmosphere is nice inside. It is dimly lit which would be good for date nights. They automatically applied the tastecard promotion without me having to ask again and didn't add any nasty additional charges at the end either. I will be going to Azzurro again.

These people were wonderful. We had 45 minutes before our train on Jubilee Day to have a meal. Despite having been rushed off their feet all day, they found us a table, brought our food promptly (which was delicious by the way) and let us pay upfront so we could get our train. The staff were charming and courteous and we will make this, a, regular stop when we visit London.

It is such a wonderful place to relax, rest tired feet, and have great Italian food. The salmon risotto is a must-have. Also found a great Argentinian Malbec "Luna Del Sur" on the menu.
